Quantifying Risk. Defining Resilience. Jessica is an elite climate resilience professional who operates at the high-stakes intersection of geospatial analytics, machine learning, and human systems. Holding an M.Sc. from the United Nations University in Germany, she specializes in translating complex climate data into risk-informed strategies.

At Avodahtec, Jessica leads our predictive modeling efforts, using advanced geospatial and machine learning techniques to assess climate risk, exposure, and vulnerability, and to translate these insights into actionable adaptation and resilience strategies for public and private sector decision-makers.   

From Global Policy to National Predictive Models. Jessica’s career is marked by her ability to bridge high-level international policy with rigorous technical execution. Having led national-scale wildfire risk mapping for major financial institutions and coordinated humanitarian missions with the UN in Geneva, she brings a deep understanding of climate-risk governance and the impacts of climate change on decision-making.

Her work is characterized by a justice-driven lens, integrating equity and Indigenous perspectives into high-resolution analyses while applying quantitative approaches to evaluate the costs, benefits, and effectiveness of adaptation options, ensuring adaptation strategies are scientifically defensible and practically implementable for clients across North America and beyond.
