Dr. Ibikunle is a global value-driven Subject Matter Expert in linear infrastructure practices, with over 17 years of technical and engineering experience, he focuses on the use of trenchless methods in pipeline design and construction, the development and application of new inspection/condition assessment methodologies, unique pipeline rehabilitation solutions, as well as asset/infrastructure management. His experience cuts across the following areas/sectors: Mining, Energy, Green Infrastructure, Water & Wastewater Utilities, Building & Community Development, Aviation, Transportation, Plants and Industrial Sites. His recent ‘Integrated Framework for Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation of Pipelines’ and a novel ‘Pipeline Condition Assessment, Rehabilitation, and Costing Tool’ are being used to provide support systems to asset owners in prioritizing repair and replacement projects, avoiding costly and disruptive emergency repairs, and narrowing the ‘infrastructure gap’ by enabling a ‘just-in-time’ investment strategy.
Dr. Ibikunle is cross-border certified Asset Management (AM) professional with practical understanding and experience in AM & Optimization, AM Planning, AM Policy, AM Strategy, Asset & Workforce Management, Business Case Creation, Contractor and Supplier Management, Investment Decision Making, Physical Asset Management, Risk Management. and Asset Life Cycle Management. He is a Certified Reliability Leader having demonstrated competencies in (i) Reliability Engineering for Maintenance, (ii) Asset Condition Management, (iii) Work Execution Management, (iv) Leadership for Reliability, and (v) Asset Management. He won the IAM 2020 NxtGen Global Award and the 2021 Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) TEREO National Asset Management Ambassador award.
In addition to authoring papers and presenting at local and international conferences, he is a dedicated teacher, mentor, and motivational speaker, who channels his passion toward empowering people to achieve remarkable success in their lives and marketplace. Dr. Ibikunle currently serves as a working committee member of various local and international professional organizations, as well as a Board Member of Aspire Hub, a charity organization.
